I have to admit, GTA:IV is the first of the series that I have played especially for Xbox360. In fact this is one of the only 2 games that I actually own for 360, I rent the others from gamefly.com, it’s pretty cheap, only about $20 per month, and you get to keep them as long as you want.
Anyway, sorry for that offtopicness. Back to the game. At this stage I am only about 40% done with the missions on GTA, I have had this game for about 2mths now, however, I’m mainly a PC gamer, and until recently when my PC was down for over one week I haven’t made much time to play.
I like the game because it’s so free, and you don’t have to go from one mission to another, you can go from one mission to just chilling on the street running over whoever gets in your way. One good thing about free play is that if I’m getting frustrated about a mission but finally complete it I can just drive around and not have to worry about rushing to the other mission or something by a certain time… so for my opinion it’s a good game.
There is violence, of course, you can’t expect a game that has Grand, Theft, and Auto in the title not to have some kind of depiction of violence. And before anyone has a chance to say “These games are ruining our kid’s minds”, as I don’t completely agree that games have everything to do with how violence starts, it MIGHT have a little to do with it, but most of it is how they are raised, and what happens throughout their life, etc… Don’t get me wrong though, I’m not an expert by far on this sort of issue. Just my thoughts on that part.
This is all I have for now. Thanks for reading.
